Friday, March 8th

9:43am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Harding Street near I Avenue.

10:01am: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call near K Avenue and 145th Street.

1:59pm: The Sheriff and a deputy conducted a search warrant in the 700 block of Walnut Street, Scranton. Evidence was seized.

Saturday, March 9th

7:52am: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

1:51pm: Deputies, Jefferson Police Department, Jefferson Fire Department, Iowa State Patrol, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a medical call in the 800 block of West Head Street, Jefferson.

6:40pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of South 9th Street, Grand Junction.

9:22pm: A deputy assisted with an unruly patrol at Casey’s in Grand Junction.

11:54pm: Deputies assisted with an unruly inmate in the Jail.

Sunday, March 10th

3:46am: A deputy investigated criminal mischief to the city park in Churdan.

11:44am: Robert Gilmore 38 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for public intoxication.

1:11pm: A deputy, Churdan Fire and rescue, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 700 block of 140th Street. A 16-year-old male lost control of a 2009 Toyota Camry rolling the vehicle five times. The driver was wearing a seat belt. The driver was transported to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Ambulance with serious injuries.

4:21pm: A deputy tried to locate reported debris on the roadway on H Avenue near 140th Street.

5:22pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 500 block of Hager Street, Grand Junction.

5:32pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near C Avenue.

Monday, March 11th

5:03am: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on N Avenue near 190th Street.

9:34am: A deputy investigated a complaint of a sex offender violation at the Scranton Library.

11:04am: A deputy and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a field fire near 260th Street and L Avenue. The cause of the fire was determined to be from a UTV.

11:04am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue near 190th Street.

6:05pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near D Avenue.

6:25pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th near 16th Street in Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
