Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center High School had students in Adel last Saturday for the Iowa High School Speech Association’s State Individual Competition at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School.

AC/GC Coach Jessica Fridley was extremely excited about the results from the day, and congratulated the students for the hard work they put in between the District and State Competitions. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that there were five individuals who received straight Division I Ratings in four events, three students that earned an overall Division I Rating in three events, and one student with an overall Division II Rating. It was also announced that Natalie Kent would advance to All-State Competition at the University of Northern Iowa on March 25th.
