The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center FFA Chapter announced some news about some of their more musically inclined members.

Three members were selected to participate in the State FFA Chorus, and two others were chosen to perform in the State FFA Band during the State Convention in April. Advisor Skie Shull says that Allison Drake, Emmarae Ellis and Montana Douglas will all perform in the soprano two section for the choir, and Isabelle Rouse and Laurin Davis will perform as part of the band, playing the trumpet and saxophone respectively.

Shull adds that members apply by submitting a form online that the directors may need to know about them without having to hear them sing or play their instrument. The members also receive a recommendation from the AC/GC Chorus Director Kelsey Dinkla, or Band Director Kyra Babcock depending on which group they apply for. Schedules for the performances will be announced once the State Convention schedule is finalized. Shull mentions that the entire Chapter is excited and proud of these extremely talented members for being selected to represent them.
