A reminder that there are two performances left to see this year’s musical at Greene County High School.
“Into the Woods” is a story by Stephen Sondheim of several different fairy tale characters that venture into the woods looking for their wishes to be granted. Then real life hits each character and their actions have consequences. Sophomore Carter Peterson plays Jack from “Jack and the Beanstalk” and he talks about his favorite parts of the show.
“My favorite part has definitely been working together in making a really hard and challenging musical with all of the choreography and singing. Definitely putting everything together is one of the most challenging parts.”
Sophomore Lucy Vander Linden plays Little Red Riding Hood and describes what she’s enjoyed the most about the musical.
“My favorite part is like all the people playing their roles. A lot of the rolls are so fun and like you really get to see them act their characters. And the singing is also wonderful. There’s some solos, and then duets, it’s got some really great music.”
There is a show tonight at 7pm and tomorrow is a matinee at 2pm at the high school auditorium. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online through Bound or at the door.
