4:50am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near J Avenue. Robert Harms 35 of Carroll struck a deer with a 2019 Hyundai Accent causing an estimated 5,000 dollars damage.
7:25am: Corey Puski 25 of Boone was booked into the jail for public intoxication 1st offense.
9:15am: Ellen Ritter 43 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for harassment 3rd degree.
12:00pm: Dalton Weber 25 of Scranton was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
3:27pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 700 block of Walnut Street, Scranton.
6:14pm: Timothy Pittman 31 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a violation of probation.
6:27pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on Neola Avenue near 330th Street. Edward Weiss 63 of Bayard struck a deer with a 2024 Chevrolet Malibu causing an estimated 5,000 dollars in damage.

6:47pm: A deputy arrested Jacob Vreugdenhil 27 of Scranton in the 800 block of Grant Street, Scranton. Vreugdenhil was arrested for an arrest warrant for criminal mischief 2nd degree and trespass.

1:57am: Kyle Habrich 35 of Boone was booked into the jail for 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance 3 rd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
2:57am: A deputy investigated an electrical flash near the wind turbines on W Avenue near 250th Street.
3:23am: A deputy investigated a complaint of gun shots in the 200 block of Hill Street, Churdan.
3:28am: Boone County Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance with a pursuit that ended near Oakland Avenue and 220 th Street. Xavier Hayes 22 of Carroll was arrested by Boone County.
8:58am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on Quest Avenue near 340th Street. Delores Kenney 75 of Bagley struck a deer with a 2023 Toyota Highlander. The estimated damage to the vehicle was 20,000 dollars.
11:16am: A deputy issued a salvage tag for a deer on 305th Street near S Avenue.
11:38am: A deputy investigated a complaint of a male subject chasing cats with an air rifle in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

2:43pm: A deputy investigated a dog running at large on Perkins Street, Churdan.
3:06pm: A deputy and Jefferson Fire responded to a field fire near 180th Street and M Avenue.
4:53pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.
Monday, February 26th
1:16pm: The Sheriff, deputies, Grand Junction Fire Department, and Rippey Fire Department responded to a grass fire in the 1900 block of T Avenue.
1:30pm: A deputy, Grand Junction Fire, Perry Fire responded to a grass fire in the 2200 block of Quest Avenue.
1:45pm: The Sheriff, deputies, Jefferson Fire, Paton Fire, Churdan Fire, Grand Junction Fire, Scranton Fire, Gowrie Fire, Boxholm Fire, Pilot Mound Fire, and Ogden Fire responded to fires that stretched from near W Avenue on 170th Street to R Avenue. From 170th Street to 130th Street. No Structures were lost but a large amount of stock and hay round bails were lost in the fires.
2:02pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of gun shots in the 1000 block of Railroad Street, Grand Junction.
6:15pm: Tracy McDonald 47 of Scranton was booked into the jail for theft 3rd degree.
9:09pm: A deputy investigated a civil dispute in the 1800 block of 120th Street.

10:24am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle at McMahn Access.
10:51am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street and Hillcrest Avenue.
11:12am: A deputy investigated suspicious activity at the Lions Club Park near 222nd Street and 220th Street.
12:31pm: A deputy investigated a report of two dogs running at large in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.
5:36pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 220th Street near K Avenue.
7:55pm: Deputies and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a brush pile fire in the 1000 block of 215th Street.
10:33pm: Deputies assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a combative person in the 1000 block of West Lincolnway.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
