A Greene County church recently designated grant funds to a worthy cause.

The Paton Presbyterian Church gave $2,000 to Midwest Missions. The funds came from the North Central Iowa Presbytery Mission and Ministry Partnership Grant. With a location in Jefferson, Midwest Mission helps support people both domestically and internationally and one of the ways this organization does that is through rice meal packages. 

The grant funds will be used to install a sink to help with clean up from the rice meal packaging events.
