The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School Speech Team continues its busy February switching to Individuals Speech Competition this Saturday.

ADM Speech Coach Jacque Seidl tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they just came off of doing large group speech and with that the biggest challenge is time management. She elaborates that the school is taking a different approach to have the students ready to go.

“That we had one of my assistant coaches that was primarily focused on helping those individual kids get their pieces found, get ready for practice. So they have been working on their pieces since November, which really helps that when now we’re making that transition from large group to individual, that they are ready to go and we’re not still in that planning process but we’re more in the fine tuning.”

Seidl indicates that 34 ADM students will be representing at the Individual Competition at Waukee Northwest High School on Saturday and that they will perform all day from 8am-3:50pm.
