Tonight’s the night… the first Friday Fest of the year in Perry and this month’s festivities have a Latino flavor.

The Hispanics United for Perry are pairing up with the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce to present tonight’s event, which will be a lot like the popular Latino Festival they typically host in the fall.

Rosa Gonzales with HUP says attendees can expect to see some great entertainment throughout the festival with some live music and dancers

Mary Murphy, also with HUP says there will also be several activities for the younger attendees as well including numerous inflatables, crafts, balloon animals and more.

Friday fest kicks off at 4pm at Pattee Park with the music beginning at 7:00.  There will be several food vendors on site, though you’re also welcome to bring your own basket of snacks and beverages.
