A 1-20 Greene County High School girls’ basketball team faces 13-7 Cherokee Washington tomorrow night at 7 in Cherokee in the opening round of Class 3A regional play. The contest will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

The Braves average 56 points a game and allow less than 47 per contest while the Rams generate an average of 28 points per game and gives up around 58. The Braves won their first eight games of the season while the Rams lost their first 17. Cherokee Washington has a balanced offense with all five starters averaging between eight and 16 points per game. The winner meets Southeast Valley (Gowrie) or Atlantic on Feb. 14.
