For the first time all season, the Jayettes won back to back games. Perry knocked off rival Greene County last night, 45-29. On Senior Night, Perry honored Maci Tunink, Callie Steva, Madelynn Hollingsworth, and Emmalee Bell. This was the first time the Jayettes had played at the high school since December 19th.
We had a more competitive first quarter this go around. Perry led by 15 when these two met on Saturday after the first. This time it was only 11-1. Perry would grow the lead to 20-9 at half. The Jayettes entered the fourth up 15. Final 45-29.
The Jayettes improve to 4-14 (3-10) while Greene Co falls to 1-20 (1-13).
Nehring would score the most for Perry, 18, in the victory.
Perry will be at Webster City on Thursday.
