Thomas Young, age 48, address unknown, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

Jason Britten, age 44, 3905 E. Ovid Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

Rubyann Fultz, age 23, 1042 21st Street, West Des Moines, was arrested for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled or Revoked.  She was also cited for Registration Violation and Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability.

Feb. 3

Cory Lamb, age 35, 4001 EP True Pkwy, West Des Moines, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Edwin Montes Mendez, age 28, 624 3rd St, Perry, was arrested for Driving While Barred and cited for Speeding.

Jamal Jarbah, age 22, 8925 Cascade Ave, West Des Moines, was arrested for Theft 5th Degree.

Samuel Lopez Vila, age 60, 3603 50th St, Des Moines, was driving the wrong way on Highway 141 at T Ave, when he failed to stop for an emergency vehicle.  A police vehicle driven by  Woodward Police Officer Graham used a PIT maneuver to prevent Mr. Lopez Vila from hitting any oncoming traffic head on.  When the collision occured, Mr. Lopez Vila’s vehicle spun out and ended up in the north ditch.  No injuries were reported to either party.  Mr. Lopez Vila’s vehicle received an estimated $2000.  Damage to the Woodward Police Vehicle was estimated at $1500.  Mr. Lopez Vila was cited for Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability.

Feb. 4

Heather Bassett, age 49, 1301 49th St, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
