Emily Klein, Manchester, was driving on Hwy 141 near Quinlin Ave, when she lost control and went into a ditch, striking a sign. No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Klein’s vehicle was estimated at $3500. The vehicle was privately towed.
Jan. 29
Jesus Ochoa Munoz, Adair, was driving in the 33000 block of L Ave when he struck a deer. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2000. He was able to drive the vehicle away from the scene.
Melinda Coyle, Van Meter, was traveling 29000 block of 360th St when a deer ran out in front of her. She hit the brakes and when she did, Michael Banks, Van Meter, who was traveling behind Ms. Coyle, struck the back of her vehicle and then veered off road into a ditch. Ms. Coyle was able to pull to the shoulder of the road. Damage to Ms Coyle’s vehicle was estimated at $2000. Damage to Mr. Banks vehicle was estimated at $7000. Both driver’s declined medical treatment at the scene. Only Mr. Bank’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
