
The Panorama Basketball teams hosted and swept the Martensdale-St Marys Blue Devils with the girls remaining perfect winning 54-42. Panorama would come out explosive in their usual fashion, scoring 16 points while only allowing 10 in the first quarter. The Panthers would hold the Blue Devils to only 9 points in the second, while scoring 12 making the score 28-19 going into the half. The Blue Devils would come out hot from the break, out scoring the Panthers 16-15 in the third quarter cutting the Panther lead to only 7 points. With the score at 42-35 to start the fourth, the Panthers seemed motivated by being outscored in the third, and went on to score 12 points while holding the Blue Devils to 7, to come out on top and remain perfect in the season winning 54-42.
The Panther boys seemed to have everything working for them as they scored over 20 points in every quarter but the fourth, beating the Blue Devils 90-64. The Panthers had all the momentum in the first half, scoring 28 points in the first and 24 in the second. The Blue Devils would score a combined 29 points making the score 52-29 going into the third quarter. The Panthers would continue to keep the momentum high coming out of the break, scoring 27 points while holding the Blue Devils to 19. The Blue Devils would come back and outscore the Panthers 16-11 in the fourth, but the damage was already done as the Panthers came out on top 90-64.
The Panther girls remain perfect, moving up to 18-0 while the boys break their three game losing streak to move up to 11-7. Both teams travel to Woodward-Granger on Tuesday with top of starting at 6pm.
