A Madrid woman was recently sentenced to probation for a September incident in Grand Junction.

According to court documents, 19-year-old Isabell Clark pled guilty to a Class D Felony for going armed with intent and an amended charge of a Class D Felony for willful injury resulting in bodily injury. She had her two five year prison sentences suspended and was placed on probation for two years with the Iowa Department of Correctional Services.

The charges stem from an incident on September 10th. Clark was with a friend in Grand Junction and that they were having issues with the victim and her boyfriend. After Clark and her friend honked the vehicle’s horn outside of the couple’s house and via an argument through text messaging, the couple went to Clark’s friend’s house to confront them. Clark came out of the house and stabbed the victim with scissors.

Court documents show that Clark was ordered to pay over $2,000 in fines and victim restitution. A no contact order has been put in place with the victim and Clark for five years.
