Funeral services for Emera Maynard, 81, of Fontanelle, will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle with burial in the Fontanelle Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle following the burial.  The Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle is in charge of the professional arrangements.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Open Visitation:  Will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle on Thursday, February 1, 2024, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

 Family Visitation:  The family will greet friends on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

 Memorials:  To the Emera Maynard Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Survivors:   She is survived by her three children, Eric (Janet) Maynard of Anita, IA, Herb Maynard of Port Angeles, WA and Jeannette (Paul) Jorgensen of Adair, IA; 4 grandchildren, Kyle Jorgensen of Anita, Zach (Morgan) of Fontanelle, Emily Maynard of Omaha, NE and Hannah Jorgensen of St. Joseph, MO, 4 great granddaughters, a sister, Karen Dory of Perry, IA, and many other family and friends.
