The public is invited to a fundraiser for a special youth organization in Jefferson.

The First United Methodist Church in Jefferson is having a fundraiser meal of lasagna, salad, bread and a dessert on Sunday from 11am-12:30pm. Shirley Haupert is one of the organizers and says this is a free will donation with all proceeds to benefit the Webb House. Carry-outs will also be available by contacting the church at 515-3864411. The Webb House is a safe environment for middle school aged kids to play games and other activities, under the supervision of adult chaperones on Wednesdays and Fridays during the school year.

Haupert notes that the Webb House is always in need of monetary donations, along with pop and volunteer chaperones. Monetary donations can be made anytime for the Webb House, by dropping it off at the Methodist Church in care of the Webb House.
