With the House continuing session, there are a few things in the third week that House Representative Sorensen says are happening.
Sorensen tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the first notable piece is in regards to submission of bills.
“The big thing is individual bills can no longer be filed. So that’s one of the first steps towards concluding a session, is all these deadlines start kind of falling into place. So that’s one of the steps closer. So what I see is some of these bills finally catching up and getting the committee work very heavy.”
Sorensen mentions that he doesn’t necessarily anticipate floor action during the week, but that there should be some action especially in the budget sub-committee and other committees and sub-committees. He adds that this will basically be just starting the work on the multitude of bills that have been drafted.
