
Friday, January 19th
5:14am: Twyla Lindsey reported they were having a burn at 201 East Perry Street. The officer checked on the fire and it was fine.
10:06am: Sparky’s reported someone left a trailer parked at 606 Hwy. 30 East, which is covering the gas tank inlet. The officer provided them the registered owner’s name and address.
12:39pm: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 103 South Walnut Street.
2:01pm: Nick Palmer reported a semi and trailer stuck in the parking lot at 1409 North Elm Street. The semi was gone when the officer arrived.
5:47pm: An officer assisted a stuck motorist in the 900 Block of North Maple Street.
Saturday, January 20th
10:34am: An officer investigated a Backing Accident in the 200 Block of East Harrison Street. A 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, owned and operated by Beth Villanueva of Jefferson, was westbound in the 200 Block of East Harrison. A 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, owned and operated by Michael McAtee of Grand Junction, backed from a parking spot and struck the Villanueva vehicle as it passed by. The Villanueva vehicle had a reported $2500.00 in damages, while the McAtee vehicle suffered a reported $1000.00 in damages. McAtee was cited for, “Unsafe Backing.”
12:45pm: An officer investigated a Backing Accident in the 1200 Block of North Pinet Street. A 2008 Ford 500, owned and operated by Gertrude Boer of Jefferson, was westbound on eastbound on West Central Avenue. As she traveled through the area, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, owned and operated by Robert Mobley of Jefferson, backed from a private drive and the vehicles collided. The Boer vehicle had a reported $28,000.00 in damages. The Mobley vehicle had a reported $1,000.00 in damages. Mobley was issued a citation for, “Unsafe Backing.”
8:33pm: Annette Hadley reported a Stray Cat at 1009 South Elm Street. The officer placed the cat in the Animal Holding Facility.
Sunday, January 21st
1:18am: Paula Parris requested an officer to conduct a Welfare Check on a female, believed to be driving towards the Hospital. The officer conducted a Traffic Stop on the vehicle she was a passenger in and spoke with her. The officer ended up transporting her to ER to be evaluated.
2:48am: The Cobblestone requested an officer at 771 Wild Rose Lane for a male who appeared to be passed out in a restroom. The officer spoke to the subject, who denied he had passed out and refused medical attention.
9:04am: A Traffic Stop in the 600 Block of East Lincoln Way resulted in Amanda Lass of Ogden being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
10:31am: Vickie Whitver reported a Stray Dog in the 600 Block of Rushview Drive. The officer did not locate the reported animal.
11:38pm: Jessie Wright requested an officer at 702 Rushview Drive for a Civil Property Issue.
