Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls basketball had a makeup game on Monday night when they took on Pella Christian on the road with the boys winning 62-54 and the girls winning 66-35. The boys move to 9-2 on the season while the girls move to 11-3.

The boys knew they were in for a battle against a stingy Eagle club, but were able to build a 12 point halftime lead and hung on as they were able to find clutch buckets and key stops down the stretch to gather the win. The girls were able to jump out to an early lead thanks to some hot shooting and stingy defense as they were able to get a bounce back win.
