The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library are hosting a special weekend event.

The “Murder with Friends” is a cocktail party where the guests play characters in a “who done it” in a black-out murder in the darkness. There is a guide book for the party that is written by Chandler Kennedy, Ken Blumreich and Kyle Maresh, and copyrighted by Playing with Murder Press. Each guest will receive information and tips to find the murderer. Participants will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres and light beverages, along with a cash bar.  

There are two opportunities to join in the party, on Friday and Saturday night at 7pm at the Jefferson Municipal Golf Course, with each party limited to 30 guests. Tickets are $25 per person by calling or emailing Ginny Showman at 515-314-4656 or jazzy.gin@gmail.com. Participants are encouraged to dress for a high society party.
