Greene County Community Foundation
There’s still time to submit a grant application to the Greene County Community Foundation.
GCCF President Karen Shannon says this year’s grant applications are done online and are for projects up to $35,000. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio there were 37 applicants last year with over $400,000 in requests. They were able to fund $214,000 of those projects. Shannon encourages any non-profit organization in Greene County to apply.
“We do want to see grants from all corners of the county. You know w e do have the greatest population in the county seat of Jefferson, but we love to see applicants from all corners, from Rppey to Scranton, to Paton and Churdan, and all around. So us knowing how it’s impacting the county, because we do also have countywide applications that come and affect the whole county.”
Shannon reminds applicants that the Greene County Community Foundation can only fund up to 75% of a project, with a 25% match. The application deadline is February 15th at 4pm and emailed to greeneccf@gmail.com. Click the link below to access the online application.
