The Iowa Caucuses occurred Monday night, and Guthrie County residents showed support for their favored candidate.

With only one candidate for the Democratic Party, current President Joe Biden is the favorite for Democrats the nation over. For the Republican Caucuses, former President Donald Trump led the field, receiving 264 votes, with Nikki Haley and Ron De Santis in a close battle for second, with 88 and 83 votes respectively. Vivek Ramaswamy is the fourth favored candidate with 38 votes, and Ryan Binkley was the only other candidate to receive votes, with two cast for him.
