The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The Board heard from Veterans Affairs and General Relief Director Beth Watson, who shared that she was working on a map system for veteran graves in Guthrie County cemeteries, and discussed how her department had helped with some homelessness cases. She also shared that she’s been taking notes from other County Veterans Affairs Offices on how they are run.
The Board then discussed implementing an employee evaluation system for all employees, not just those department heads appointed by the Board. All the Supervisors agreed that they’d like to implement it, and that if they wanted to have it start by the end of the calendar year, they need to decide how they’d like them done and train employees on how they would be done.
