New Opportunities has been serving a multi-county area for several years, including a problem gambling program in a five county area including Greene and Guthrie Counties.

With Problem Gambling Awareness Month approaching in March, Problem Gambling Champion Dorinda Wehde with New Opportunities has a tool for business to be able to help employees. She shares that she has specific information to help keep workplaces safe, called Gambling in the Workplace Toolkits. These kits are to be used to help prevent problem gambling in employees, and focuses on signs and symptoms of problem gambling, responsible gambling practices, and ways to mitigate potential harm.
