It’s basketball at home tonight in Jefferson for the Greene County Rams while the wrestling team is at PCM in Monroe for the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference Tournament.

Coach Kirk Davis and the Greene County wrestlers start the conference tournament at 5 o’clock. The Rams are led by a pair of State Tournament veterans, both of whom are ranked fourth in Class 2A. Senior Gavin Scheuermann is 18-2 at 157 lbs. and junior Brent Dennhardt at 165 lbs. is 27-3. Scheuermann sits at 98 career wins and likely will get to the century mark tonight.

South Hamilton (Jewel) visits the Rams in HOIAC basketball. Coverage starts at 5 :45 p.m. on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The girls play at 6 o’clock with the boys to follow. The Greene County girls have not played a game since Dec. 19 and the boys have played just once. The girls are 0-11 and the boys 1-10. The girls from SH are 8-4 and the boys 10-1.
