With the Iowa Caucuses coming up, one Iowa Senator hopes that her constituents will participate.
Senator for District 12 Amy Sinclair says that participating in the caucuses is important, and tells Raccoon Valley Radio why she believes that.
“I think every single Iowan who is available and willing should go and share their voice in the caucus process. I think Iowa has a unique role that we play in the caucus process. I think that just because of our history with the caucuses, we do a really good job of vetting these candidates from the get go for the rest of the country.”
Sinclair mentions that not only does she find the caucus important, but interesting as well. She adds that growing up in Missouri, she didn’t see the caucus process until she came to Iowa, but that she sees now that the way that Iowans get to sit down with candidates and ask them questions, and get a real first hand look before other states is something that makes the state unique.
