A Funeral Mass for Maurita Aubrey, 53, of North Dakota formerly of Jefferson will be 10:30 am Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson.  Interment will take place at a later date at Camp Creek Cemetery in Alexander, North Dakota.  A Rosary Prayer service will take place at 4:00 pm Friday, January 5, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by a time of sharing and the family greeting friends until 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Love and Legacy Foundation.  Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.sliningerschroeder.com.

Maurita is survived by her daughter Jordan Aubrey (Cole Stetzel) and grandson Blaze, of Dallas Center, Iowa; son, Colton Aubrey of Alexander, North Dakota; mother, Pat Dahl of Mitchell, South Dakota; sister Denise (Craig) Wahlstrom of Alexander, North Dakota; brother Shawn (Cindy) Dahl of Berthoud, Colorado; nephews: Cameron (Lacy) Wahlstrom, Sheldon (Jenna) Wahlstrom of Alexander, North Dakota, Tim Dahl of Trenton, Illinois, and Mathew Dahl of Camp Humphrey, South Korea; she is also survived by her great niece and nephews; Reese, Porter, and Axel Wahlstrom.
