Panther wrestling returns this week to the mats in the “Nevada Round Robins” for the women, and the “PCM Wrestling Invite” for the men. Both meets will be tournaments.

The “Nevada Round Robins” tournament will be on Thursday, January 4 where the Panthers are expected to see over 20 schools taking part in. Some conference familiars that they may see are West Central Valley, Pleasantville, AC/GC, and Earlham. Last meet the women wrestlers competed in was the Trojan Tangle on December 16, that included 14 teams,  where they too 3rd in class 100, 6th in class 170, and 2nd in 155.

The men’s “PCM Wrestling Invite” will be this Saturday, January 6. The last meet for the Panthers was on December 16 where they competed in the Trojan Duals. The Panthers came home with 2 wins that night. One against Colfax-Mingo with a score of 44-22 and Van meter, 47-15. They lost a close one against conference opponent West Central Valley of 39-36.
