The ADM Tigers’ men’s and women’s basketball teams are set to face the Carlisle Wildcats in an away game tonight. The Wildcats women’s team is 5-3 coming into the game against the 4-6 Tigers. The Wildcat men are 2-6 overall, while the Tiger men are 7-1.
For the women’s team, all eyes will be on Macy Comito, a Sophmore for the Wildcats. Comito leads her team in multiple categories. With an average of 20.9 points per game, a field goal percentage of 47.8%, and a three-point percentage of 38.1%, she poses a significant threat on the court. Comito’s playmaking skills are with an average of 4.6 assists per game, accompanied by 3.3 turnovers. Her rebounding is noticed securing an average of 9.5 rebounds per game, with 1.5 offensive rebounds and 8.0 defensive rebounds.
On the men’s side, the Wildcats are anchored by Calvin Frey and Tate Heidemann. Frey, a junior, leads in points with an average of 12.9 per game, shooting at a 35.1% field goal percentage. He is also a force on the boards, averaging 6.6 rebounds per game, with a balanced 1.0 offensive and 5.6 defensive rebounds. Heidemann, a senior, showcases his playmaking skills with an average of 3.6 assists per game but faces a challenge with 3.4 turnovers, resulting in an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.1.
For Raccoon River Conference play the women Wildcats are 4-1, with Tigers 2-3. Wildcats in 2nd and Tigers in 6th. The men Wildcats are 1-4 in the conference sitting as last seed. Tigers 5-0 and undefeated, while leading the RRC.
