The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday.

The Board will hold its organizational meeting for the new calendar year. The meeting will begin with the appointment of the board chair for 2024, followed by the consideration of renewing the Iowa Communities of Assurance Pool (ICAP) insurance. The Board will also consider for approval a resolution for a motor grader for the Secondary Roads Department, a 28E agreement with the city of Dawson for a road project, and purchasing a right of way. 

Additionally, the Board will consider approving a resolution for a wetland credit allocation for the city of West Des Moines, a construction evaluation resolution, and several appointments for 2024. Those items include board assignments, official depositories and newspapers for publishing notices, and other board appointments.

The meeting takes place at 9am in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room.
