The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board heard from County Health Services Director Jotham Arber, who discussed how the different health departments had applied for a grant, and would be using the money for advertising the different health services available in the county. The Board then heard from County Engineer Josh Sebern, who told them the the group of county engineers he was working on securing grants with had applied for on to help work on bridges, and that he had been named as the alternate for the Iowa County Engineer’s Executive Board.

The Board then heard from Supervisor Maggie Armstrong, who has been doing some research and looking into companies to rebuild and revamp the County’s website. She shared information on Neapolitan Labs which is an Iowa Business, and on Granicus, a company that has designed websites for several government agencies.The Board then approved to post the notices about the county farm and transfer station pasture leases and the remaining fiscal year 2024 appropriations.
