Next Saturday the Bayard Fire Department will host an annual event.

The department will be putting on their soup supper fundraiser December 9th from 4:30-7pm at the Bayard Community Center, with a special visit from Santa Claus from 5-6pm. Free will donations are welcome for the meal, and towards the end of the night there will be a raffle drawing for a $1,000 gift card to Sommerfeld Outfitters. Tickets are currently available for $10, just talk to any member of the fire department to purchase one. The winner does not need to be present to win the prize. Proceeds from the raffle and soup supper will be used to help update fire fighting equipment.
