The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The Council will consider for approval the third readings to amend ordinances including fencing regulations, increasing water rates to five percent, and responsibility for downtown sidewalks. The Council will then set a public hearing for an easement for Hardin Hilltop to increase the size of their current easement.

Additionally, the Council will consider several of its annual tax increment financing payments to Lincoln Ridge Estates, Briarwood Estates, Cobblestone Inn and Suites, Wahl/McAtee Tire and Service, and Fairview Veterinary Clinic. They will also consider approving a funding request for The Children’s Center, a facade grant for the Sierra Community Theatre, a resolution to name the animal shelter, as well as fees to use the dog park, and amending provisions within an ordinance about dogs barking. Finally, the Council will consider approving renewing the health insurance plan and a quarterly funding request for Greene County Development Corporation.
