The winter calendar season is about to be in full swing for DCG athletics, as the Mustangs will be looking to see how they look. Both boys and girls basketball and boys and girls wrestling have a busy week ahead.

Boys and girls basketball will have a home game on Tuesday against the ADM Tigers at home, and then both teams will be on the road on Friday when they make the short trip over to Urbandale to take on Des Moines Christian. All basketball coverage this week can be heard on the KDLS2 stream.

Wrestling will have both the boys and girls hosting a high school duel against Norwalk on Thursday at DCG High School. Next Saturday, the boys will be hosting their invitational against multiple schools in Grimes, while the girls will participate in a tournament at Audubon High School in which should be good competition for both teams.

It should be a fun season ahead for DCG athletics, and they will look to put together a great week ahead.
