The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board will consider for approval canvassing the second tier of votes from the city/school elections from November 7th. They will also consider for approval revisions to the county general assistance program, tax increment finance indebtedness certificate for the 2025 fiscal year, and a resolution to hire a full time jailer for the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, the Board will discuss possible increases to general assistance allowances, along with a discussion regarding the imposition of a Local Option Sales and Services Tax (LOSST) within an unincorporated area of the county.
