A Jefferson kid recently made a donation of homemade items to the Greene County Medical Center.

Makenzie Wahl is a 12-year-old that got inspired to make hand-sewn lap blankets for the extended care patients at the medical center, after she participated in a finger knitting pumpkin class at Art on the Fly. Each blanket took Wahl about an hour to finish and those were given to Makenzie’s great-grandmother Lois, Connie Neese and Marilyn Peters. Mackenzie is going to continue her finger knitting skills and wants to pursue making full size blankets in the future.
