With the West Central Valley Wildcats girls basketball team set to hit the hardwood next Tuesday, November 21st, for their home opener against Grand View Christian, I sat down with head coach Dan Druivenga. He talked about the one thing that makes him the most excited going forward into the season.
“I think the amount of depth we have. We have a lot of girls out like I said and I think a lot of girls can play varsity basketball and were just excited to see the different things we can do with this many girls going out,” Druivenga said.
Druivenga told me he has 20 girls that have went out for basketball this season. They will look to use that depth to their advance like he mentioned. Their regular season kicks off on November 21st, with a home matchup against Grand View Christian. You can catch results leading up to that matchup on K 107.9 and on our website at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
