Colton Scott of Earlham was traveling south on Puckerbrush Rd. Timothy Gerdis of Waukee was on Puckerbrush Rd., attemting to turn left onto R Ave. , and did not see Scott’s vehicle coming. Scott was unable to stop in time and struck Gerdis’s vehicle. No injuries reported. Damage to Scott’s vehicle estimated at $2000.00 and $3000.00 to Gerdis’s vehicle. Gerdis was cited for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.

Suzanna White of Winterset was traveling north on Highway 169 near 360th St., when a vehicle driven by Earbie Akers of Winterset traveling on 360th, pulled out onto Highway 169 and struck White’s vehicle. No injuries reported. Damage to each vehicle estimated at $5000.00. Akers was cited for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.

Richard Nourse of Menlo was traveling west in the 16000 block of Old Highwaay 6 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00.

 Ronald Dean Feldman, age 26 of  (address unknown) was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

 Alex Kyle Hanson, age 26 of (address unknown) was arrested on a warrant for probation violation – original charge of possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance violation. 

Tonya Sue DeCamp, age 47 of 29456 Old Portland Rd., Adel was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of OWI and unlawful possession of a prescription drug.

November 10, 2023

Latasha Marie Medlay, age 25 of 804 Guthrie St., DeSoto was arrested for contempt – violation of a no contact order.

Leah Mertz, of Redfield was traveling in the 21000 block of 280th St., when she lost control on the curve , left the roadway flipping over into the ditch. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $20000.00.

Devin York of Des Moines was  traveling south in the 34000 block of Ute Ave., in a gravel dump truck. York signaled and put his hazard light on to slow down to make an angled turn across the roadway. Jose Angeles Salazar was also traveling south in the 34000 block of Ute Ave., when he merged onto the shoulder to avoid striking York’s vehicle colliding into the west ditch. No injuries reported. Damage to York’s vehicle estimated at $500.00 and $20000.00 to Angeles Salazar’s.

Ibrahim Jalloh of Des Moines was traveling south on Indian Trail when he lost control and entered the ditch. Jalloh and a passenger were transported to Methodist Main in Des Moines and another passenger transported to Mercy Main in Des Moines. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.

Stephen Douglas Manning, age 45 of 6701 SW 9th St., Des Moines  was arrested after a pursuit that started in the 31000 block of N Ave., and finally concluded on N Ave., in Madison County. Manning was arrested for Eluding, Interference with Official Acts, Failure to obey traffic control device, Failure to obey traffic control device,  reckless driving,  Speeding and Operating a non registered vehicle.

Kathy Hendricks of Winterset was traveling in the 29000 block of 360th St., when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.

Dakota Ray Nordstrom, age 31 (address unknown) was arrested on a warrant for assault-serious injury.
