With war raging in two allied nations, US Legislators are looking to pass a bill to send some form of help.

US Senator Chuck Grassley says that the Senate has looked at a bill that would send aid to both Ukraine and Israel, while the House of Representatives has passed a bill only sending aid to Israel. He adds that the House is insisting on having a separate bill for each country. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio his stance on the subject.

“I can predict that either separately or together, I would support both countries receiving help from the United States, but I think it’s more certain that it’s going to be together as one bill in the United States Senate.”

Grassley explains that while the Senate is looking at a joint bill, the House most likely will not accept it, and that at this point, it’s impossible for him to predict how things will turn out.
