Now over to the gridiron. The 2023 all district awards came out recently for the Perry Bluejays. 9  members of the Perry roster won all district awards for their performances throughout the 2023 season. Of the 9 Bluejays winning all district awards, 5 of them were seniors, the other 3 were juniors. Starting off with junior punter Tyler Gomez. Gomez won first team all-district for Perry. Drake Levan, Eric Lagos, Jesse Rodriguez, Kain Killmer, Roberto Gomez, Keegan Snyder, Kevin Colin, and Geren Kenney were Bluejays that all won 2nd team all-district as well. Levan, Rodriguez, Killmer, Snyder, and Colin were the seniors winning all-districts. What a way to end their career in a Perry Bluejays uniform. Lagos, Kenney, and Tyler Gomez were the juniors and they will have quite a bit of positives to take away from their junior season going into their senior year.

Junior Zach Shelley and Senior Egan Leber were both honorable mentions for all-district awards as well for Perry. Congrats to all those on the Perry football team winning all-district awards on such an incredible achievement. It was an honor to watch all these guys in action throughout the course of the season.
