The Greene County Board of Supervisors were unable to officially meet on Monday for their regular session.

Three of five Supervisors were able to join the meeting via conference call, which included Board Chair John Muir, Vice Chair Dawn Rudolph and Supervisor Pete Bardole. The only one to attend in person was Supervisor Mick Burkett. Supervisor Dan Benitz was absent.

Before the meeting started at 8:30am, County Attorney Thomas Laehn said that by state law, there must be a quorum, or at least three of the five supervisors, physically present in order to have an official meeting. He pointed out that unless there is a situation such as a health crisis, where the supervisors could meet without physically being in person, they needed to adhere to the law.

Additionally, there were no agenda items listed and so the Supervisors will meet next Monday.
