11:03am: ER advised of a Cat Bite victim at the facility. The officer later spoke with the subject, who advised he was holding his mother’s cat when a dog spooked the animal. It had scratched and bit his arms. The animal was placed in a 10 Day Quarantine, per state law. The owner of the animals was given a time period to become compliant with animal licensing. The cat was provoked into the bite, so animal ordinances do not apply.

1:08pm: Jordan Sloan reported his neighbor’s tree, in the 200 Block of South Olive Street, was resting on the powerline. The officer advised him to contact the power company.

1:37pm: Jeremy Cartwright reported locating two juveniles in his residence at 205 South Cedar Street. He asked the officer to advise them they are not welcome at his property. The officer did so.

3:26pm: An officer removed debris from the roadway in the 600 Block of East Lincoln Way Street.

5:22pm: An officer provided Traffic Control at Elm and Lincoln Way Street for an emergent Ambulance coming from Grand Junction.

7:09pm: The Greene County Medical Center reported a male going through the trash dumpsters at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street. The subject was not located in the area.

7:30pm: Krisaley Johnson reported catching a Stray Dog at 207 North Cedar Street. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

8:10pm: Sam Chaloupka requested Extra Overnight Patrol near his construction site in the 400 Block of East Russell Street.

9:46pm: Joe Wulf reported a possible gas leak near 501 South Cedar Street. The officer did not locate anything in the area.

10:42pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 106 West Washington Street. The business was found to be secure.

10:50pm: An officer assisted a deputy with an OWI Traffic Stop near Elm and Stanford Streets. The deputy will handle charges.
