One Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center student will be moving on to the All-State Festival.

AC/GC sent 16 students to compete in the auditions for All-State, with one being a band member. Competing in soprano was Montana Douglas, Allison Drake, Haedyn Grasty and Emmarae Ellis, while tenors were represented by Tanner Downing, Andrew Mahaffey and Carter Dinkla. Bass singers were represented by Brandon Carlson, Owen Dinkla and Ronin Grasty, with Kelsey Carlson also representing the choir, and Isabelle Rouse auditioning in the trumpet category.

Mahaffey and Carter Dinkla both earned recalls, and Mahaffey was selected to advance to the Iowa All-State Chorus on November 18th at Hilton Coliseum in Ames.
