9:08am: An officer was advised of a female subject sleeping in her vehicle in the 600 Block of East Adams Street. The officer conduced a Welfare Check on the female and learned she had an outstanding Arrest Warrant for, “Failure to Appear.” The officer conducted a Consent Search of the vehicle and located Drug Paraphernalia inside. Merissa Shawnay Olson, 33 of Jefferson was arrested for the warrant and was also charged with, “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia- Simple.”

9:41am: Denny Ross reported a Scam Call. The subject advised him he had won a vehicle, but needed to purchase Gift Cards and send them before he could claim the prize. Ross did not incur a loss, as he recognized it as a scam.

10:02am: Dispatch advised of an Open 911 Call from 200 North Wilson Ave. The officer spoke to employees, who advised it was an Accidental Dial.

12:59pm: Troy Overstreet reported an upstairs window at 622 South Vine Street, appeared to have been shot with a BB gun. The officer believed it had been shot. Overstreet was unsure when this could have occurred.

2:20pm: A caller advised of a vehicle with an extremely loud radio near Olive and Russell Streets. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

6:20pm: Officers assisted the Sheriff’s Office at 777 Wild Rose Lane. A vehicle had left a Search Warrant in Grand Junction and had been located at the casino. The Sheriff’s Office will handle any charges in the matter.

6:48pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 401 South Wilson Ave. It was deemed a False Alarm.

7:27pm: Anna Pound reported a Suspicious Male walking around the area of 1409 North Elm Street. The officer did not locate the subject.

9:16pm: The GC Medical Center reported a male attempting to gain entry to the facility. The officer arrived and learned the subject had made his way to ER and was being treated.

9:37pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 106 West Washington Street. The business was secure.

10:42pm: An officer responded again to an Alarm Activation at 106 West Washington Street and found the business to be secure.
