Both the West Central Valley boys and girls cross country teams participated in the state qualifying meet last Thursday at the Pella Sports Park in Pella.  The boys finished in the top 15 overall. Cael Hazen had the leading time of 19:35:88. On the girls side of things, The Wildcats finished in 9th overall place. They were led by Taitlin Koch who finished in 6th place overall. She put up a time of 20:07:61. That time was good enough to qualify Koch for the state meet coming up at the end of the month on October 27th and 28th.
