A Grand Junction man was injured and faces a charge following an all-terrain vehicle crash on Sunday.
According to court documents, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Grand Junction Rescue and Greene County Ambulance responded to the ATV crash at 8:55am at 14th and Main Streets in Grand Junction. Thirty-two-year-old Alex Treft lost control of his 2003 Yamaha Raptor and it hit a tree. The vehicle was a total loss and Treft was taken to Greene County Medical Center with multiple injuries.
Court documents show that Treft was later charged with an aggravated misdemeanor for driving while barred but was not arrested, due to Treft being in the emergency room being treated for his injuries. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
