Oct 12:
Officers responded to the 1200 block of 2nd St on a report of check fraud. Case under investigation.
Arrest: Lindsey Jo Sandy, age 29, 1007 W 3rd St, Indianola was taken into custody and charged with driving under suspension.
Arrest: Dejhane Deanne Coleman Brown, age 24, 10525 Providence Dr., Johnston, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st offense (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Oct 13:
Arrest: Jesse Dean Siglin, age 36, 308 Lucinda, Perry was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st offense (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension.
Accident:
Unit 1 – gray 2014 Ford Focus Sedan registered to and driven by Emma Elizabeth Klocke, 603 1st St., Dedham, IA.
Unit 2 – blue 2001 Jeep Cherokee registered and driven by Bobbi Joy Bushbaum, 1805 Lucinda, Perry.
Unit 2 was stopped near the intersection of 7th and Willis Ave facing east bound preparing to turn northbound when she was struck from behind by unit 1. No citations were issued. Total estimated damages $1250.
Accident:
Unit 1 silver 2007 Buick Lesabre registered to Daryl Duane Harker, 1805 lowa, Perry driven by Jammie Allen Benshoof, 1805 Iowa, Perry.
Unit 2 was a pedestrian, Francisca Santa Romero, 1424 7th St., Perry.
Unit 1 was traveling northbound on 3rd St when a pedestrian walked between two parked vehicles in front of Unit 1. Unit 1 did not have time to react and struck the pedestrian. Pedestrian was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle with minor injuries.
Accident:
Unit 1 – silver 2009 Toyota Highlander registered to Jose Eduardo Pena, 1447 Henderson Ave, Des Moines, driven by Maria Dolores Pena, 1447 Henderson Ave, Des Moines.
Unit 2 – red 2022 Volvo semi registered to First Fleet INC, 694 d Decker Drive, Bluffton, Indiana, driven by Timothy John Bloem, 925 1st Ave, SE Waverly, IA.
Unit 2 was westbound on highway 141 passing the Willis Ave exit. Unit 1 failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the rear of unit 2. Total estimated damages $40,000.00. The driver of unit
1 was transported to Dallas County hospital for complaints of chest pain. Unit 2 was able to driver the trailer to its destination.

Arrest: Ivan Joel Garcia Valle Valles, age 22, 500 4th St., Perry was taken into custody and charged with two counts of forgery.
Arrest: Jacob Robert Kroupa, age 25, 2801 1st Ave, Perry was taken into custody and charged with driving under suspension.
Received a report of harassment in the 1200 block of 16th St. Spoke with party who advised they would cease contact.
Oct 15:
Arrest: Miguel Angel Torres Preciado, age 34, 523 Willis Ave, Perry was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear, original charge possession of a controlled substance. Arrest: Todd William Peitzman, age 55, 138 315th St., Perry was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear, original charge possession of a controlled substance. Received a report of criminal mischief in the 2200 block of 1st Ave. Advised there is a window at the shop that has been broken. Officer responded. Appears window was broken with a rock or piece of brick. Unsure of the cost to repair it.
Accident:
Unit 1 blue 2003 Ford Windstar van registered to John Comer, 1907 W 3rd St., driven by Marrietta Comer, 1907W 3rd St., Perry.
Unit 2 white 2013 Chevy Sub SW registered to Holly Thies, 466 4th St., Charter Oak, IA, driven by Justin Welte, 466 4th St., Charter Oak.
Unit 2 was traveling west on 141st St., approaching the 10th St intersection when it was struck by unit 1 that was traveling north on 10th St. Total estimated damages $31,000. A passenger in unit 2 was taken to the Dallas County Hospital by EMS. Driver of unit 1 was cited for failure to yield to passing vehicles.
Officers responded to the 2900 block of Kading on a report of a domestic. Situation calmed, no injuries.
