Dallas Center-Grimes volleyball wins a pair in conference tournament on Saturday.

The Mustangs improved their regular season record to (19-12) (3-3) with wins over Norwalk and Pella in the Little Hawkeye Tournament in Newton. The day started with a two set victory over Norwalk and in that game junior Landry Glasgow led the team in kills (6) and freshman Gwen Farley had (18) assist. The Mustangs then fell to Newton in all two sets, but bounced back with a win over Pella in two sets. Senior Anna Cantrell collected (7) kills and had two aces in the victory.

Now the Mustangs will turn their attention to postseason play where they will await their opponent after a first round bye. They will play either Perry or Fort Dodge in the semi finals on October 19th in Grimes.
