28985 Thin Blue Line Lane, Adel, Iowa  50003

Jacob Mitchell, Winterset, was driving a dump truck in the 12000 block of 270th Street, when he hit a cow that was standing in the road.  No injuries were reported.  The cow was returned to it’s field.  Damage was estimated at $1500 and the vehicle was able to be driven away.

Oct. 12

Daniel Keller, Dallas Center, was traveling on 250th St,  just past T Ave, when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Wyatt Orr, Dallas Center.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Keller’s vehicle was estimated at $900.  Damage to Mr. Orr’s vehicle was estimated at $1200.  Mr. Orr was cited for Failure To Stop In Assured and Clear Distance.  Mr. Orr was also cited and released for Operating While Under The Influence.
