The Panorama cross country team showcased their talent and training at the regionals hosted by ACGC, with two standout runners making a significant impact. Freshman Kylie Rochholz secured an impressive 3rd place finish, clocking in at 19 minutes and 22 seconds. “I’m really proud to place third in the conferece…it was good, it was a PR, and it’s awesome” Her remarkable performance highlighted her exceptional potential in the sport.
Not to be outdone, junior Noah Poldberg achieved a personal best with an impressive time of 17 minutes and 4.10 seconds, displaying a remarkable improvement in his performance. Even coming in with a great strategy to show off his running IQ, “To go hard on the small hills and take the big hills not as hard.”
The success of these two athletes is a testament to their dedication and hard work, as they peaked at just the right time to compete against some of the conferences best runners. With the state qualifiers fast approaching on October 17th, Panorama’s cross country team is undoubtedly on track for a strong showing, and these exceptional athletes are peaking at the a great time thanks to their training to make their mark at the state level.
